Fish Carvings
All fish are carved with hand
and power tools. Each scale is etched and individually
painted. Acrylic paints are hand and air brushed on the
sculptures. Rodger pursues anatomical accuracy. Aquatic life
corresponds with the fishes habitat. Rocks and corals are
hand carved and painted. Natural and carved driftwood, hand
tied flies, carved aquatic creatures, and sculpted
vegetation decorate the walnut base.

Catch and Release
Rodger Carbone combines his love
for the outdoors as a fly fishing guide and a photographer
with wood carving. Where possible, he catches fish and
photographs them and releases them unharmed to be wild and
free. He researches the subject and habitat of each species
carved. Every sculpture reflects quality workmanship and
beauty making each sculpture a fine addition to your fly
fishing art collection.

Duck Carvings
The waterfowl are carved with hand and power tools. The
feather details are carved and hand painted to produce a high
degree of realism. Paralleling the fish, all duck carvings
pursue anatomical accuracy and life-like poses. Ducks are
studied in their natural habitat through photography and
observation, combined with printed reference material on the
various species. The waterfowl carvings reflect quality
workmanship through fine detail and lifelike appearance.

Carve a
Memory
A fish carving will rekindle the memory
of your catch in stunning realism. A gravel dredging run or a
surface churning leap can be recreated in a dramatic piece of
art. The feeling of returning a trophy fish to wild water is
unequaled. This special moment along with the thrill of the
catch can be enjoyed for a lifetime through a fish sculpture.
